National Police Week

May 14-20, 2007



In 1962, President John F. Kennedy designated May 15th of every year as National Police Day. The week in which May 15th falls was thereby designated National Police Week. This week marks the 44th anniversary of National Police Day and Week. In honor of National Police Day, flags across the United States will be flown at half-staff.
